Creating links and exchanging theatre

Since 2013 Bathway Theatre Network (BTN) has offered regular Artist Residencies and worked in Partnership with several established companies - including Greenwich Theatre and Greenwich & Lewisham Young People's Theatre.

BTN fosters relationships between artists in the professional community and staff and students at the University of Greenwich. It is a link between theatre makers, performers, directors, writers, designers and promoters and is a place for Bathway Theatre Network members to advertise their current and forthcoming performances.

One feature of becoming a member of the Network is the possibility to use our fully equipped 100 seat black box theatre and our rehearsal spaces as part of our Performance Platform.

Performance Platform

We are interested in contemporary performances, both from established performers and emerging artists and companies. Whether you are looking to showcase a new piece, run a project or collaborate with our Bathway Team, we want to hear from you.

Pieces could include, but are not limited to, physical theatre, script work or multi media performance. We are particularly interested in performances that speak to our vibrant, culturally diverse community as well as our students and wider audience.

Performance Platform opportunities work on an exchange basis and via application/proposal. Through the Network you have a chance to stage a public performance, and are offered free rehearsal space and technical assistance in exchange for artistic/academic involvement.

If you are interested in joining our performance platform please download and complete our APPLICATION FORM and send it to BTN administrator Connie Gallagher.

As a theatre network we are also looking to collaborate and form new partnerships with established performance and arts organisations. For information on possible partnerships or collaborations please contact the BTN director Jillian Wallis.
